Teach To Transform began with a vision sparked by Dr. Tom, an ER physician with more than 25 years of mission experience. After years of serving on short-term trips, he embraced a new philosophy: rather than simply “go and do,” why not “go and teach”? Through hands-on training, Dr. Tom began equipping local pastors and community leaders in basic medical skills—empowering them to care for their own communities long after the mission teams returned home. As the impact of this model grew, Teach To Transform expanded its reach with the addition of Discipleship Through Economic Empowerment, Farming God’s Way, and Emotional Trauma Healing. Today, our mission is to help communities thrive—physically, financially, and emotionally—while opening doors for the Gospel to be shared and received.
